- Not letting someone know how you feel ‘cause you’re afraid they don’t feel the same way.
- Seeing other people flirt with someone you like without being bothered by it.
- Being just friends with someone you wanna be more than friends with.
- Getting used to living without someone who always used to be there.
- Expect anything different when you’ve been disappointed too many times.
- Trusting someone again after you found out they cheated on you.
- Decide if you should just give up, or just try harder.
- Letting go of someone who’s been a part of your life for so long.
- Act like you don’t give a shit when you really care.
- Pretend everything is okay, when really, it’s not.

I know it’s pretty self-centered, and very passive of me to just be waiting, but all I want…the only thing I truly want at this moment is a sign. Some sign that all this pain, all these tears, everything I’ve fought against and crumbled under for the past 9 months is for something. Some sign that there’s a bigger plan in motion, that I’m at least headed somewhere.
Because if there isn’t…if I’m not…what’s the use in fighting anymore?
